About Me

Robert Schwartz, MSN, BSN, RN

I have a master's in education (instructional design and technology) from Western Governors University. For my capstone project I developed and delivered a Motivational Interviewing workshop. This came many years after a decade working as a corporate training director.

I also have a bachelor's in nursing from University of Texas at Arlington. I began as a psychiatric RN. Later, as Care Manager for an underserved population, I learned techniques in Motivational Interviewing. Over that 7 year period, I developed my skills with the help of a behavioral health colleague.

Most recently I held a position as Learning and Development Specialist. Among other things, I developed and delivered a performance improvement workshop for managers.

I pride myself on producing training that is fun and engaging, experiential, and effective.

I am married for 20+ years and have two rescue dogs. I'm always pushing myself to work out and eat better in pursuit of my health and wellness goals, so sometimes I practice MI on myself!
